In a World of Instant Filters, We Chose to Slow Down
Every day, we take hundreds of digital photos on our phones. We swipe past them, leave them sitting in group chats, or lose them forever in the cloud. They are endless, but they feel weightless.
We started NaumetsArtShop with a simple, quiet mission: to rescue those fleeting, precious snapshots and give them the dignity, permanence, and soul they deserve.
When you commission a portrait from us, no computer hits “print.” A real human artist sits down with your photograph, studies the gentle curve of a smile, the texture of a pet's coat, and the spark in someone’s eyes -translating your memory onto paper, stroke by meticulous stroke
Artist-Grade Mediums
We work exclusively with professional high-density graphite and rich artist pastels. This ensures deep, striking contrasts that capture natural light and never fade into dull grey over the decades
Museum-Grade Archival Paper
Your portrait is sketched on heavy-weight 250gsm acid-free textured paper. Unlike standard printing paper, archival cotton paper is chemically engineered to resist yellowing for generations
Sealed for Protection
Before leaving our studio, every completed sketch is gently misted with a professional matte fixative spray. This locks the graphite particles in place, protecting your artwork from smudging during transit and handling
The Hands Behind the Pencils
Hi, my name is Mykhailo Naumets, and I am an artist from Ukraine.
My journey with a pencil began in childhood - while other kids played outside, my favorite place in the world was sitting over a blank sheet of paper. That quiet fascination never left me. It followed me through art classes and eventually led me to the Faculty of Architecture, where studying under professional masters taught me discipline, precision, and the true anatomy of a portrait.
In 2019, I took a leap of faith and opened my shop on Etsy. What started as a local passion suddenly connected me to the world. Today, looking back at more than 4,000 successfully delivered artworks, I realize something profound: behind those 4,000 orders weren’t just "clients." They were 4,000 love stories, first anniversaries, beloved pets, and tender memorials of people dearly missed.
That is why, for me, this is not about graphite on paper - it is about gifting an emotion. When someone unboxes a portrait from my studio, my goal isn't for them to say "That's a nice drawing." My goal is for them to catch their breath. I want a mother to tear up on Christmas morning, or a husband to smile instantly recognizing his partner's exact spark in the eyes.
Right now, I am personally responsible for every single step of this process. From the first pencil stroke on my drafting table to carefully wrapping your tube in protective paper, your memory is touched strictly by my own hands. I continue to study, master new techniques, and let your stories inspire me every day.
Thank you for reading my story, and thank you for trusting me with yours. I warmly invite you to explore my shop - let’s create something unforgettable together!
